Marc Isolda Photography: In Flight
Scanning the Sky
A blue heron skims over the lake. A great egret stretches out its neck, elegant in takeoff. Two flycathers huddle in the rain. A robin gobbles down berries. Canada geese fly in formation, and ducks lift off in unison. A cacophony of starlings wheel overhead. The last of the dinosaurs. Photographing them takes patience, a sharp eye and quick reflexes.
